Since 2009 we offer a finance symposium for Romania – modelled on the well tried-and-tested Alpbach Finanzsymposium. This event offers Romanian banks and financial service providers a unique platform to present their innovative products and services to customers.

Once a year, the symposium comprehensively deals with a current topic – in plenary discussions, executive discussions and expert seminars. The goal of the event is for every participant to go away with at least one concrete idea that he or she can put into practice in their company afterwards.

Review 2009: Optimising Liquidity and Cash Management

In times of declining sales, tight credit lines and limited access to liquidity much has changed for corporates worldwide and in particular in the Romanian market. For domestic companies, as well as for subsidiaries of multinationals, cash and liquidity management have become one of the most important tasks for corporate finance managers. The RomanianFINANCESymposium outlined the various options available to companies to optimise their liquidity and control their cash flows. Solutions to current challenges were presented by the most experienced experts in this field.
