The idea
Our strategy is to tread the fine line between basic research and broad implementation and thus it is very important to us to invest as much as possible in research. To this end we have founded the Finance Trainer Research Institute to take care of our new certification programme as well as design, software and seminar development.
The place
The seminar facilities of the Finance Trainer Research Institute are situated in Tuscany, in Figline Valdarno near Florence – a place steeped in the European banking tradition (how to get there).
Certification programme
The Finance Trainer Research Institute is also in charge of the new Finance Trainer certification programme (
Corporate Treasury*Certificate,
Banking*Certificate). The Advisory Board – comprising leading representatives from the financial services industry – meets regularly to set the programmes' syllabus and exam.
The Finance Trainer Research Institute Advisory Board
The Advisory Board comprises high-ranking representatives from banks, corporations, regulators, auditing, the law and academia. It represents the main pillars of the treasury and market risk industry and is thus well qualified to set standards.
