_Goal
With a pass ratio of about 95 per cent (wordwide: 65 per cent) the College*ACI Diploma is the most comprehensive and substantiated preparation for the ACI Diploma exam. In the six months leading up to the College participants learn the basic know-how in the Cyber*School online learning course. During the College itself numerous tests simulate the real exam setup. Furthermore, the participants learn combination strategies and a systematic approach for solving complex problems. On the last day of the College participants have the opportunity to sit the ACI Diploma exam so that they can return to their workplaces with diploma in hand.
_Optimal preparation for the ACI exam
The contents and structure of the training are 100 percent in line with the actual ACI syllabus.
- Foreign Exchange: spot, crosses, outrights, NDF, FX swaps, forward/forward, time options: practical use, price influence factors and combination of products, FX tail risk of FX swaps
- Money Market: interbank deposits, CD, CP, bills of exchange, repos and sell and buy back: practical use, price influence factors and combination of products
- Fixed Income: price influence factors of fixed rate bonds, yield to maturity, duration, asset swap calculations, computing the zero curve
- Short term interest derivatives: FRA, futures, money market swaps, OIS: practical use, price influence factors and combination of products, strips,convexity effects, arbitrage strategies
- Options: FX and interest options: pricing and price influence factors, call/pull parity and its practical use, break even calculations, delta hedges, greeks and how to use them, exotic options
- Risk Management: legal restrictions (Basel I, Basel II, capital adequacy directive), VaR calculations, netting agreements and their effect on the credit risk
- Technical and fundamental analysis: ECB, Fed, BoE, SNB and BoJ policy, macro economic indicators, role of IMF, BIZ and OEDC, chart analysis
