_Learning for the real world
Understanding and explaining basic currency and interest derivatives know-how
- The seminar will introduce the most important corporate treasury instruments and their use: „ground rules“ for FX futures, FX options, interest rate swaps, forward rate swaps, caps, floors, collars, swaptions, cross currency swaps and cross currency interest rate swaps.
Assessing the chances and risks of different hedging strategies
- Participants learn the definition of benchmarks, the impact of the yield curve, the market opinion and risk aversion/willingness on the selection of a strategy and instruments as well as rules for the attractiveness of different strategies from the customer‘s point of view.
Spotting the individual hedging needs of various customers
- Six business cases per seminar: loosely structured customer cases are modelled using PC simulations against the backdrop of different market conditions.
How to convincingly present the different hedging strategies to the customer
- The role play trains how to meet the customer‘s requirements and how to sell complex products in a target group adequate way. The sales presentations and the presented solutions are evaluated qualitatively and quantitatively.
_Target Group
- Corporate accounts officers who wish to spot and raise customer‘s awareness of derivative products
